WINNER, more give-aways, new sale item, and tutorial!!!
Are we having fun, yet??? Actually...I thought I'd clarify that even though the post author at the bottom says Natalie Malan, it's actually Aly Dosdall here...Nat's on vacation...have fun, Nat!! So...the winner of this give-away is Lissel who scraps about 10-20 hours a week! Email me at dosdallda@juno.com with your pcLayers username and email address. Congrats, and thanks to all who posted. Looks like there are some of you who scrap even more than me! Makes me feel better. =)
NEXT GIVE-AWAY!!! Answer this question for your chance to win $10 of pc purse money: Have you ever been to a laptop crop? If yes, tell us a bit about it! (I've never been...but can't wait to try it!) I'll be back at 4 pm (MDT) to announce a random winner.
NEXT SALE ITEM!!! The Rue 12 brush kit has gone the way of all the earth...well, it's still there...it's just not on sale anymore. =) Now up at %50 off is the gorgeous 7gypsies Reef kit...one of my personal fav's.

Here's a layout I did using this yummy kit that was featured in the May/June 2008 issue of Simple Scrapbooks Magazine.
PAPER TEAR TUTORIAL!!!
In the layout I posted above using the Capri kit, I created a paper tear. Following is a tutorial to do this same technique. I use Photoshop, but I think this application is pretty similar across the board. Be sure and post any questions you have, and I'll do my best to help you out! Enjoy!

I have not been to a laptop crop. There are 3 people in Amarillo who do digital scrapbooking - and two of us have laptops! I have taken my laptop though to traditional crops and I get quite the inquiries! I'm gonna bring digi-scrapping to the Texas Panhandle yet! hehe

We have a ladies craft night every now and then. Some girls make cards, some sew, some paper scrap, and a few of us bring laptops and digi scrap. It's always tons of fun!
